The AVX-MKE2 SET includes a bodypack transmitter with lavalier microphone, the plug on receiver and all accessories to operate out of the box with camcorders as well as DSLR cameras. It features self configuring digital transmission which eliminates time-consuming radio frequency setup. The ultra compact receiver rotates around the XLR connector to avoid collision with other devices mounted on your camera. It switches on and off automatically with your camera - saving battery power. The AVX matches perfectly to your camera's input sensitivity without having to adjust the audio level on the microphone. From professional wedding video to documentaries, from street interviews to corporate videos, the AVX just works allowing you to concentrate on creativity.

    the best an entertainer can find!

    as I wrote above highly recommenced worth every $$$ spent

    PRO:

    I am in the show biz for more than 24 years while writing these lines tried lots of different headsets and the AVX is THE BEST SET I found till now!! it is just the state of the art top of the range equipment I am using almost daily in my Balloon comedy shows I do. easy to plug and play love the idea that you do not need a chunky receiver battery last for all day so I can do few shows without charging USB charging so while in the car to another gig I can charge them both packed small for ease of carrying it around fell on the floor few times and still working

    CON:

    we should get a nice case with it at this price to protect while traveling. I am using sunglasses big padded case at the moment. after one year I needed to fasten the screws on the receiver.

    BEST USES:

    at my Balloon comedy shows connected to a sound system

    BOTTOM LINE:

    Superior Innovation and sound for this iPhoneographer

    I was slightly concerned about being on long shoots without batteries. I am currently in the middle of shooting another half hour special using only my phone and the Sennheiser. I've been on long shoots and the rechargeable batteries on both the receiver and transmitter haven't gotten close to running out of power.

    PRO:

    SIZE-- I had been using wireless receiver and transmitter that I connect to the iPhone but felt it too bulky. This Sennheiser is perfect when attached to a cold shoe, in my case a Beastgrip. I also have no more need to constantly change AA batteries. SOUND--The sound I get with this microphone is superior to any other mic I've used. I've shot 3 half hour television specials using only my phone and a wireless mic. The difference is amazing and outstanding. Full and rich and brilliant. I literally can't believe the difference.

    BEST USES:

    I use it exclusively with my iPhone and Beastgrip.
